Monk3yLogic
Bristol (UK)

Influenced by the psychedelic music scene, Will Bolam (aka Subliminal System) and Mike Connell (aka Mike Method & Beyond Control) formed Monk3ylogic together in the beginning of 2009. Both Will and Mike had backgrounds producing and DJ-ing in other underground dance genres before eventually merging their styles to create the Monk3ylogic sound.
Driving bass lines, heavy tech lead lines with psychedelic twists and a convergence of styles best describes their unique take on Electro and Breaks. 2010 saw Monk3ylogic's first remixes with Aux and Kick it Recordings released worldwide along with their sucessful debut Electro EP "Where's the car", released by Broken Records. Towards the end of of 2010 their long awaited EP "One Million Monkeys" was released by Broken Robot Recordings, containing their debut breaks track, a rework of Subliminal System's "Into the Burgh" which reached the coveted Beatport breaks top 10. |
